ANDERSEN was inspired by the famous fairytales by HC. Andersen. The audience jumps into a magic suitcase and fly’s with the dancers though many of the know fairytales. Though the performance the audience meets The Ugly Duckling, The Snow Queen, The Steadfast Tin Soldier and not just one mermaid but 16 mermaids on the beach.

The fairytales always make me smell the ocean waves and hear the wind in the green big crowns of the trees. My imagination goes wild and that is what happens in ANDERSEN.” – Lene Bonde
ANDERSEN premiered in Holstebro Musikteater and toured all around Poly Theatres in China in autumn 2015.
